Start of NaNoWritMo!
Happy November 1st for those who celebrate! As I've aforementioned here, I will be participating for the second year in a row in NaNoWritMo, attempting to complete 50,000 words by the end of the month as an addition to my passion project, Project_Hare. My progress will be updated here and also on my profile on the NNWM site, which is accessible through the button at the top of my portolio page! Here is my general goal outline for this year.
1. Have 2-3 out of timeline snippets fully fleshed out. I'm talking flashbacks, backstories, etc. These pieces of information can be crucial to sprinkling into any narrative.
2. Begin the canon timeline in whatever order feels most natural! I've had the most success so far going out of order from start to end.
3. Post at least one snippet every 2-3 days to keep updates consistent with the project.
For day one (November 1), IĀ focused on a backstory snippet of Santiago and a former romance he had. I wanted to place an emphasis on a particular part of his previous storyline. (A little hint: He wasn't always a chaplain! How do you think he made a living before?)
I'll keep dropping sone more lore details here as I continue fleshing out the main storyline, so stay tuned.
